Licensed Registered Nurse, Licensed Supervising Psychologist

As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Keehn has completed numerous clinical training hours
under the auspices of UTSW and Baylor Medical Center trained psychologists. She
completed doctoral-level research at the TWU Stroke Center Dallas and is a published
author in the field of psychology. Dr. Keehn presently acts as a consulting psychologist
in the UTSW medical center for dementia/ aphasia research. Currently, Dr. Keehn is a
clinical supervisor in a nationally accredited APPIC training consortium. Through that
program, she manages and provides psychometric testing and advanced therapy
clinical instruction, supervision, and mentoring to bachelor, masters, pre-doctoral, and
post-doctoral trainees. Dr. Keehn utilizes advanced, cutting edge, testing platforms
including interactive clinician administered I-pad assessments, advanced computer
testing, in ‘real time’ behavioral observation, on-site observation techniques, and a
milieu of psychometric approaches for every patient. Her therapy and counseling
approach combines many different empirically supported treatments to meet the
unique needs of individual patients.

As a licensed registered nurse, Dr. Keehn has held certifications such as Critical Care
Registered Nurse, was an American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Instructor, and has completed an advanced practice degree in nursing including
a practicum at Children’s Medical Center. She has assisted with numerous clinical
research trials in Houston and Dallas area medical centers. Dr. Keehn is a published
author in the health care field, a seasoned professor of nursing at sites ranging from
Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation to intensive care units in the UTSW medical center,
and is a compassionate caregiver to her patients.

Dr. Keehn’s testing and therapy approaches are empirically supported by years of
research. We focus on testing and treatment strategies that combine a multitude of
theoretical and practical applications and are strategically designed to meet the
unique needs of each patient as quickly and efficiently as possible. It is important to
